The jewel of the extensive hiking trail network around the climatic health resort Hahnenklee-Bockswiese is the Liebesbankweg – a 7-kilometer circular hiking route and the first classified premium hiking route in the Harz and Lower Saxony. Along it, there is plenty to discover for young and old: lakes, rivers, and ponds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Upper Harz Water Management System,” the remarkable surrounding natural landscape, 25 lovingly crafted benches, and numerous artworks along the path.
