It doesn't get any higher - border region between Westphalia and Waldeck

We hike through the almost endless green of the “Land of 1,000 Mountains” uphill to the Langenberg, the highest mountain in Westphalia, and back down again. We jump over the crystal-clear Kellerbach creek, hike through the Neuer Hagen nature reserve with its high heath, which is especially worth seeing during the heather bloom, enjoy the view from the Clemensberg, stop at the Hochheide hut, and soon reach Niedersfeld again, the first village on the young Ruhr river.
