The Lipp e-Bike Tour consists of two different day tours starting in Detmold, on which you can admire the regional half-timbered architecture and enjoy sweeping views of the Lippe countryside. Along the way, you will stop off at 3 businesses where, on presentation of the vouchers, you will receive selected, high-quality products from regional production and thus help to make Lippe a little more sustainable.

Directions
The first Lipp e-bike tour takes you from Detmold to Lage, on to the beautiful spa town of Bad Salzuflen and from there back to Detmold on tranquil country roads via Hörstmar and Heiden. You start the e-bike tour at the train station in Detmold. Kronenplatz behind the station offers ample parking.
The first stop on the route is the Detmold Pepper Sack. Here you can immerse yourself in the world of spices and get to know various spices from near and far. Many of the spice blends, chutneys and spreads are produced and bottled here or made in East Westphalia Lippe. Pfeffersäckchen also supports a number of sustainable projects in the food sector. The staff will be happy to advise you on your choice of spice blend or chutney.
Depending on opening times, you can visit this stop first or choose it as the last stop on the tour.
The next stop on the tour is in Lage-Hagen. To do this, leave Detmold city center behind you and take Elisabethstraße instead of heading outwards. From Heidenoldendorfer Straße, turn right onto Knochenbach and cycle a little way through the housing estate. Behind the school grounds, a path leads past the railroad tracks, which you follow until you reach Brüderstraße, where you follow the road "In der Mesche" to the right until you reach the Meschesee lake. Walk around the lake on the left-hand side and enjoy sweeping views across the water. Then follow Pivitsheider Straße to the left until you reach the crossroads. From Bielefelder Straße, turn right onto Ehrentruper Straße and take the cycle path, which is almost 4 kilometers long. On the right before the traffic circle, follow the path along the Werre and then turn right onto Bruchstraße and Friedrichstraße into the center of Lagens. At the end of the road, a tunnel leads safely towards Thusneldastrasse. Follow the road to the end and then turn right and immediately left again onto Flurstraße. There, a small path at the edge of the forest leads you to Taschenweg. Afrikastraße on the left leads directly to Hagenschen Straße, where you will find Biohof Brinkmann on the left at the next crossroads. You can take a culinary break in the "pantry" and enjoy a soup, a homemade roll or a coffee in the cozy rooms on the upper floor.
Freshly fortified, turn left towards Sprikernheide, where after a few meters you can discover the Brickworks Museum and the fields of the Brinkmann organic farm. The road "Am großen Holz" leads straight ahead to Lake Hartig. After the left-hand bend, follow a small path on the right that leads around the lake. After the underpass, turn left towards the exhibition center. There you can follow the cycle path along the feeder road. At the mobile home dealer "Ullrich", either turn right down onto the cycle path or follow the road a few meters further if you want to visit the Heerser Mühle environmental center on the left. The cycle path on the right takes you through the floodplain landscape of the Werre, past some old fruit trees. The path ends in the center of Schötmar, where you turn left into "Krumme Weide" and after a few meters turn right at the snack bar into Platanenstraße. A little later, you will pass the Hoffmannswiesen meadows, where an avenue of fruit trees and various bee hotels have been created. A little later, you will come to Bad Salzuflen railroad station on the left. After crossing the road, follow the cycle path on the right which leads up to the left before the petrol station. Hermannstraße takes you directly to Brüderstraße, where you have to cycle a short distance down into the pedestrian zone of the spa town. You are now at the Schliepsteiner Tor with the graduation towers and the adjoining spa park, which invites you to relax and take a stroll. From Bleichstraße, you will come to the Sebastian Kneipp Bridge on the right, which will take you to the third stop, the BO coffee roastery. Here, owners Oliver and Beate Langer welcome you with freshly roasted coffee and other homemade delicacies.
The route is slightly bumpy on Wenkenstraße and Turmstraße, past the Katzenturm towards the town church. Here you can enjoy the view of a small park and the city center below. On the right, Von-Stauffenberg-Straße leads downhill towards the Hofbräuhaus in the city center. From there, follow Riestestraße to the left until you reach the turning hammer. Keep right here and continue along Wasserfuhr until you reach Heldmannstraße on the right-hand side. Heldmannstraße takes you directly to Stietencron Castle, where you can take a break in the castle park or pass the castle on your left and turn left at the petrol station into Lemgoer Straße. Follow Lemgoer Straße for just under 3 kilometers until you reach Gastrup. There you follow a small side road on the right, which takes you under Ostwestfalenstraße on a small embankment. From there, continue straight on until you reach Lieme. Shortly before the village church, turn right into the path "In der Ecke", past the church, straight ahead across the grounds of the community center on a small path along the tributary of the Bega.
The cycle path on the right ends just before Hörstmar on Uferstraße. Follow Uferstraße to the railroad station, turn right into Magdeburger Straße opposite and then straight ahead onto Wittenbrede. Hörstmarscher Weg leads to Heideweg and finally to Heßloher Straße, which leads left to Heiden. After a few meters, Tresckowstraße on the left leads to the village's elementary school and Clausewitzstraße on the right to the village center. Marktstraße opposite leads to the oldest fortified church in Lippe. The beautiful area around the church is characterized by many small half-timbered houses, which were part of the ramparts and were used for defence. At the gate behind the church is also the Gogerichtslinde, a thousand-year-old lime tree, which until 1935 carried a platform that was used for dancing, among other things. Take Kantorweg and Rotenbergweg between fields and past a herd of sheep out of Heiden.
At the end of the field path, turn right onto Bremker Straße and continue to the next crossroads, where you turn left towards Jerxen Orbke. The road leads to Lagesche Straße shortly before the major junction. Cross the junction and turn left onto Lagesche Straße and then immediately right onto Potsdamer Straße. A small path leads to Kreuzstraße. At the playground, you can turn right to reach Liebhart's half-timbered village and end the evening or turn right and continue straight ahead along the park to get back to Wittekindstraße. Teichstraße on the left and Arminstraße will take you straight back to the station.
