On its gentle course, the Lippe connects five regions in one of Germany's most diverse federal states: the Teutoburg Forest, the Sauerland, the Münsterland, the Ruhr metropolis and the Lower Rhine.

This route is the new destination for cyclists, nature lovers and all visitors who are enthusiastic about Roman culture, the water experience and European history.
