The tour along the old “Nutscheid” trade route, with its steep climb from Sieg to the ridge, offers real flights of fancy, and not just for athletes. The route runs car-free for 30 km along the high path and offers changing views of the Siegtal. After the Galgenberg with the gallows tree, the Panarbora treetop path invites you to visit. Afterwards, a beautiful descent on a quiet road in the charming Hufener Bachtal promises relaxation. It's worth stopping at the Siegwasserfall or in Mauel.

Directions
There is a lot of nature along the way and, apart from an inn in Altenherfen, no place to stop for refreshments. Directly behind junction 77 is the Panarbora nature adventure park with a youth hostel and treetop path. Here on the outskirts of Waldbröl we are approx. 300m higher than at the start in Eitorf. From Panarbora, the approximately 9 km long cycle path of the same name leads back to the Siegtal. If you have cycled enough, you have the option of taking the train back to Eitorf at Schladern train station. However, a visit to the Siegwasserfall beforehand is definitely recommended. By bike it is approx. 24 kilometers to Eitorf on the Sieg cycle path. Behind Schladern the path first leads to Mauel. There is a beautiful moated castle right on the path. This is followed by the last mountain stage to Dreisel. From here it's a relaxed route along the Sieg back to the starting point. There are numerous highlights along the way, such as the Siegtaldom in Dattenfeld, the spa park in Herchen or the Eichenhain in Stromberg. Since the railway line always runs parallel to the cycle path, the tour can also be ended in Dattenfeld or Herchen.
