For the ambitious cyclist, the approximately 26-kilometer circular route around the Königshainer Berge is suitable. Starting from Königshain, you head towards Mengelsdorf. Lots of nature and constant ups and downs accompany you. After a short rest in one of the restaurants or cafés, you visit the Granite Quarry Museum and the castle complex with its magnificent Baroque castle from the 18th century, as well as the stone building from the 13th/14th century. Your bike route continues to Mengelsdorf, where, not far from the path, the Wotan Oak, one of the oldest trees in Upper Lusatia, stands. In Biesig, you cycle past an old manor house and the fire brigade museum before your tour continues via Dittmannsdorf to Arnsdorf-Hilbersdorf. Here, a visit to the country cinema is a real experience. Now you come to Thiemendorf, where Emil Barber, the most important botanist of Upper Lusatia, was born in 1857. Passing the Königshainer Berge landscape protection area, you return to Königshain.
