Magnificent views of the flatland in front of Munich or in the opposite direction to the large 3000-meter peaks of the Tyrolean main Alpine ridge.

This ski tour is recommended for fit and experienced ski tourers who are familiar with the terrain and avalanche danger, as steep slopes must either be descended or traversed. Frequent skin-on and skin-off is necessary, which can make this route long.

There are plenty of opportunities for refreshment at the Taubensteingipfelstüberl, Taubensteinhaus, or Rotwandhaus.
