To Taubenstein - summit hut along the former ski slope

Due to the good connection to public transport (train from Munich to Fischhausen-Neuhaus and then ski bus to Spitzingsee) and the large car park directly at the valley station of the Taubensteinbahn, a popular route which is perfectly suitable for ski touring beginners. Due to the old ski slope, the avalanche risk is low. But caution! Danger always exists!

There is a possibility to stop for refreshments at the Taubenstein summit hut or via a short detour to the Schönfeld hut.

The official night ski tour to the Taubenstein saddle is also a classic in the Tegernsee Schliersee alpine region. The ascent and descent also take place on the Taubenstein descent of the Spitzingsee ski area, which was closed in winter 2014/15, and is continuously signposted!

Please adhere to the indicated ascents and descents and pay attention to the wildlife protection areas as well as the forest-wildlife conservation areas!
