Cave adventure tour (beginners)

TOUR DATA - Key points:

• Exciting cave hike with a total of 5-6 caves
• Cave exploration with easy climbing & crawling passages
• Medium-difficult day tour with a length of around 12 km

Requirements for participants:

• Normal fitness, sure-footedness & a head for heights required
• Suitable for sure-footed & adventurous children aged 8 and over
• Hiking experience: over 10 kilometers in length
• Climbing experience: easy stairs

Important notes:

• No refreshments available on the route (self-catering)
• robust or old hiking clothing is an advantage (rock contact)

Summary:

• Meeting point: Parking lot at the traffic circle in Königstein
• When: in the season from April to early November every Tuesday (outside vacation periods) and Saturday or Sunday (weekly change) - approx. 9:30 am
• Distance: max. 12 kilometers with 500 hm
• max. 8 participants (from 8 years)
• Duration: approx. 7 hours

• Participation fee:
  • Single ticket: 65,- EUR per person
  • Partner ticket: 59,- EUR per person (2 persons)
  • Family ticket: 55,- EUR per person (3-4 persons)

• Cancellation policy:
  • generally possible free of charge up to 9 days before the start of the tour
  • from 9 to 3 days before the tour, 30% compensation will be retained
  • from 72h before the start of the tour, no cancellation is possible
  • Exceptions: certified illness
  • exemption: in case of bad weather

Final notes:

The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants on the day of the tour due to insufficient equipment or suitability for the tour. The organizer also reserves the right to cancel the tour due to bad weather. In both cases, the participation fee will be refunded to the participant. Any further costs incurred by the participant for travel, accommodation, equipment, etc. will not be reimbursed unless these services have also been arranged by the organizer for the participant.

The organizer has special public liability insurance for damages to participants for which the organizer is responsible. Nevertheless, participation in the advertised tours is always at the participant's own risk, which is why every participant should have comprehensive private accident insurance.
