The guided headlamp hike invites you to enjoy a special nature experience in winter. Equipped with functional PETZL® headlamps, the tour leads along quiet hiking trails through the forests around Bad Schandau. In the clear winter air and the light of the headlamps, a special atmosphere unfolds in which the sounds, scents and impressions of nature are intensely perceived.
The tour leads to selected places of power in the region, which are known for their special atmosphere and scenic beauty. Along the way, the experienced guide provides interesting facts about Saxon Switzerland, its geology, flora and fauna as well as cultural and historical background information. The focus is on consciously experiencing the surroundings - listening to the silence, feeling the ground and observing the light in the dark.
The hike combines exercise, knowledge transfer and mindfulness to create an atmospheric winter experience. It offers the opportunity to discover the wintry landscape around Bad Schandau in a special way and to sharpen your senses in the tranquil natural surroundings.

Directions & Parking facilities
Train: Take the S-Bahn line S1 or regional trains to Bad Schandau Nationalpark station.
From the station you can take the Elbe ferry to the town center in a few minutes.
Bus: Travel to the bus stops "Bad Schandau Elbkai" or "Bad Schandau Markt"
On foot: A short walk from the ferry pier to the meeting point at the Tourist Service on the market square
By car:
Approach via the B172 from the direction of Pirna or Schmilka.
