From the "Café" to the Brauhaus Alt Neuhaus

In August 1981, Olaf Schlichting, the 8th generation of the family business "ULEX Schnäpse", opened the Café Alt Neuhaus, which from then on was run as a bar/café in the style of an Irish pub.

In 2005, the guest area was extended and an in-house brewing system was added. The "Café Alt Neuhaus" became the "Brauhaus Alt Neuhaus". Today, the "Cronemeyers" is offered here as a light and dark beer, which is only served in the brewery.
In addition to the in-house beer and schnapps, non-alcoholic drinks and small snacks such as baguettes, pizza and soup are also offered.
