Cafe Fräulein Ida

Café Fräulein Ida is located just a few metres from the Bliestal leisure trail and the Bliesbruck cultural park. In summer, you can sit in the garden and enjoy the unique view of nature, while in cooler weather you can find a seat inside by the crackling open fire amidst the unusual, detailed 1960s furnishings. Fräulein Ida is not just a café, but a place where you can relax and enjoy yourself. Whether you just want to take a short break during a bike ride or a rest on a hike, or spend an entire afternoon relaxing in this exceptionally peaceful place, the aroma of freshly brewed organic coffee, the flavour of fresh cakes or hearty snacks invite you to linger in this wonderful Bliesgau landscape.

Music events are organised on a regular basis.

The house is also used for seminars and small, private parties.

Summer evenings and entertainment at Café Fräulein Ida in Reinheim

The summer season at Café Fräulein Ida in Reinheim begins on 1 May 2024. As every year, Fräulein Ida conjures up a very special musical atmosphere in the café's garden. On three summer evenings, selected musicians perform their concerts at sunset.

While enjoying a cool drink, you can savour the unobstructed view of the beautiful hilly landscape of the Bliesgau.

On 5 July, Duo Recobrado will delight us with their programme Tango meets Baroque... and so much more.

The already well-known duo Slow Moon will be performing on 26 July. With their repertoire of cover songs in various languages, well-known oldies and current hits, the two will enchant you with their guitar and keyboard and their perfectly harmonised voices, creating a wonderful atmosphere to match the sunset and moonrise.

On 23 August, the bandbossa'68 will bring the sugar loaf a little closer to the Bliesgau with Latin American rhythms.

On 18 July, the popular Yoga and Dinner in the Garden event takes place again.

But that's not all. A special highlight this summer will once again be the Great Miss Ida Quiz on 2 August. Our quizmaster will guide guests through a variety of categories, including music, history, Reinheim and more. But don't worry, the questions are designed to be fun for everyone.

The musical finale will be a matinée on 29 September with the band Georgia and Friends, who will present the many facets of the blues.
