Historic Gersheim railway station

The lovingly and stylishly restored station has long been a popular stop for a culinary break in the middle of the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve.

The railway line serves as a cycle path, skating track and leisure trail, while the platform has been converted into a terrace where visitors can enjoy excellent food, drink and conversation in a pleasant atmosphere. The interior of the station building, including the ticket
hall, which has been converted into a dining area, also offers a unique and extraordinary ambience that is both cosy and welcoming.

Whether it's a quick bite to eat for hikers or cyclists who like to take a break at the historic station, or a family celebration such as a wedding or birthday, the couple who run the place, Lisa and Matthias Steimer, have been delighting their guests for over two years.
The menu offers a wide range of dishes, from pasta and fresh salads in various variations to high-quality fish and meat dishes at excellent value for money.
The historic station is very popular not only with day trippers, but also with the residents of Gersheim and the surrounding villages.
