Kieler Brauerei (brewery)

The destination for delicious german cuisine and classic rustic decor. In this restaurant you feel transferred to medieval times: in the middle of painted arches and brightly polished copperkettles, you dine at massive oak tables. The dishes are hearty and delicate: Schnitzel, tasty knuckles of Pork, Holstein specialties, salted herring and much more are always served fresh and in big portions. The autumn / winter menue offers delicious kale and swede mash. Three kinds of beer are constantly brewed on site: Kiel-Beer, lager and a seasonal beer. The naturally cloudy Kiel Beer is characterized by its unique taste, since it still retains all the flouverings, ferments and vitamins.

You can also take some beer home, in bottles as well as in beer kegs.
