On the northern edge of the Harz Mountains near the World Heritage town of Goslar lies the Wöltingerode monastery, which was used by Cistercian nuns as early as 1174. Today, the baroque monastery walls are home to the comfortable 3-star superior monastery hotel. In the associated Klosterkrug Wöltingerode, great importance is attached to treating nature and its products with respect.
