This café-restaurant in the trendy Westhafen serves soups, tarte flambée, and burgers. If you want, you can even dock your boat here!
Frankfurt isn’t by the sea—but the Kombüse in Westhafen still evokes a maritime atmosphere. This small café-restaurant is perched on a dock right in the harbour basin and is a particularly beautiful example of the Westhafen’s transformation from an industrial area into a chic—yet, thanks to its maritime flair, also relaxed—residential and office district. If you’d like, you can dock your boat at the Kombüse, but landlubbers are welcome, too. On rainy days, you can sit comfortably in the glass pavilion behind huge windows. But the sun terrace is the most charming spot.
They serve small, delicious dishes like soups, tarte flambée, or burgers. On weekends, there are homemade cakes and freshly baked waffles. And in the evening, guests toast with rosé and long drinks—while enjoying the sunset over the Main River.
