La Domenica

La Domenica has been in Wolfenbüttel since 1985. Guests come to La Domenica not only for the wonderful Italian food but for the incomparable atmosphere, which delights all the senses. The Mediterranean ambiance of the public rooms as well the vaulted cellars turn an ordinary restaurant visit into a very special event. In summer, up to 120 guests can treat themselves to a small break from the every day life in the idyllic garden.

On the menu at La Domenica you’ll find classic pizzas and pasta, naturally all home-made from fresh ingredients. In addition seasonal, special examples of Mediterranean cuisine are on offer. Francesco, the host, is a restaurateur in body and soul; his way of looking after his guests is a real experience. Our tip: ask Francesco, who happens to be a sommelier as well, not only to suggest a wine for you, but let him advise you about the main courses on the menu too. Just tell him what you fancy (meat, fish or vegetarian) and leave the rest to him. You certainly won’t regret it, because the excellent dishes are prepared with nothing but the best ingredients.

For groups and special events, La Domenica offers a party and catering service
