Creative Levante cuisine

Mashery Hummus in Cologne offers a modern take on Levantine cuisine, featuring select, fresh ingredients and a focus on thoughtfully chosen products. Founders Julian and Rhaya combine their passion for hummus with a commitment to using resources responsibly in their day-to-day operations. Chickpeas, tahini, and fresh lemons are transformed into hummus and other dishes inspired by the flavors of Levantine cuisine—including those from Tel Aviv and Beirut—and served in Cologne’s Latäng neighborhood.

Mashery Hummus’s cuisine stands out for its creative fusion: traditional Middle Eastern recipes are combined with influences from around the world to create new flavor experiences. The name “Mashery” is derived from the English word “to mash,” symbolizing the daily creative blending of ingredients and inspirations. For hummus lovers who appreciate tradition, classic variations are preserved, while there’s also room for original weekly specials.
