In the idyllic Mühltal valley near Langen, you can enjoy fine dining in an old half-timbered mill or hearty fare in the adjoining beer garden.
On the eastern edge of the small village of Langen stands this 600-year-old half-timbered mill, where you can enjoy fine dining beneath the beautiful old beams. There’s a clear emphasis on Austrian specialties here: Wiener schnitzel and Fiakergulasch are popular classics, and for dessert you can choose between Kaiserschmarrn and Topfenknödel.
And if the weather is nice and you’d like to enjoy the green Mühltal valley while you eat: Right across from the mill is the restaurant’s own beer garden, “Die Scheuer,” where you can get schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn, as well as beer garden classics like Flammkuchen, fries, or Käsespätzle.
