The history of the traditional restaurant "Weidmannsruh" as an inn dates back to 1888. A restaurant with many names, formerly known as "Weidmannsruhe" or "Bildhaus" among the Thuringians, the restaurant became the gastronomic center of the Greiz-Werdau Forest after extensive modernization in 2001.
In our kitchen, we pay attention to regional foods that all meet our high standards of enjoyment, health, quality and sustainability. We source our game from the local forest. This has many advantages. It is a natural product and has an excellent taste. Game grows up in a natural, low-stress environment. The meat is an ideal food for a health-conscious diet.
