Auf der Brake Vacation Farm
An idyllically situated standalone farmstead with 2 comfortable vacation apartments, centrally located between Hamburg and Bremen, the North Sea, and the Lüneburg Heath. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you’ve come to the right place. “Pure nature” awaits you at our romantic, stand-alone farmstead, surrounded by fields and forests with designated biking and hiking trails.
Both vacation apartments are accessible without steps and are equipped to accommodate seniors. The furnishings are solid and practical, furnished in the typical country house style of our region. The bathrooms are equipped with showers, and the kitchens are fully equipped. All apartments have private parking spaces, TV, and free Wi-Fi. Pets are allowed by arrangement (please notify us before arrival).
You can relax on one of the terraces or in our spacious natural garden. Next to the vacation apartments is our fallow deer enclosure. In addition, chickens, cats, rabbits, a hunting dog, and plenty of bees roam our vacation farm.
Our younger guests can also enjoy the farm’s own playground, which features a playhouse, a slide, and a balance beam in a giant sandbox. On the lawn in front, there’s a trampoline available for those who love to jump.
For outings into nature, we have Dino-Cars and a handcart. In case of bad weather, we have a recreation room with a ping-pong table and other toys.

Directions & Parking facilities
- The town of Zeven is located in the center of the Rotenburg (Wümme) district. Steddorf is located northeast of Zeven and is part of the municipality of Heeslingen.
By car:
Coming from Bremen and Hamburg, you can reach the town of Zeven directly via the A1. The B71 also connects the town of Bremervörde and the district seat of Rotenburg (Wümme) with Zeven. In Zeven, follow the L124 toward Heeslingen, then continue on to Steddorf. In the village, turn left toward Brake.
By public transportation:

Our fallow deer enclosure is located next to the vacation apartments and offers plenty of opportunities to see our wildlife. In addition, chickens, cats, rabbits, a hunting dog, and lots of bees roam our vacation farm.
