Since 1991, we - Ingrid and Roland Brünjes - have been running a 33-hectare dairy sheep farm in Ostendorf near Bremervörde. Our farm, located in the middle of the moorland and on the Elbe tributary Oste, is affiliated to the Bioland association.
We cordially invite you to spend the night on our farm in a cozy camping barrel. The camping barrel has sleeping facilities for two adults and a maximum of two children up to the age of ten. There is a bathroom for our guests in the hallway of our half-timbered house.
Relax with a barbecue on your own terrace and enjoy the idyllic view of our sheep in the orchard. If you are interested, we will be happy to introduce you to our farm in more detail.
Our direct location on the "German Ferry Route Bremervörde - Kiel" makes it ideal to stop off at our farm and in the camping barrel and relax for your onward journey in absolute peace and quiet. Hikers are of course also very welcome!
In addition to the camping barrel, there are also three motorhome pitches available.

Our camping barrel and dairy sheep farm are located in the Bremervörde district of Ostendorf, north of the town of Bremervörde, in the north of the district of Rotenburg (Wümme).
By car:
From Bremerhaven, simply follow the A 27 towards Bremen (exit Beverstedt) and the B 71 towards Beverstedt and Basdahl.
From Hamburg, follow the A 26 and B 73 towards Stade or the A 1 towards Bremen (exit Bockel) and then the B 71 towards Zeven and Selsingen.
From Bremen and Hanover, you can reach Bremervörde via the A 27 towards Bremerhaven (exit Ritterhude) and the B 74 (via Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Hambergen, Basdahl and Oerel).
From Rotenburg (Wümme), follow the B 71 (via Zeven and Selsingen).
In Bremervörde, turn off the B 71 into "Waldstraße" and follow the road for approx. 2.4 km. From "Waldstraße", turn right into "An der Chaussee" and follow this road for approx. 3.1 km. Now turn left into "Brinker Straße" and follow this road and the continuing "Ostendorfer Straße" until you reach our farm after approx. 6.5 km.
By car:
From Bremerhaven, simply follow the A 27 towards Bremen (exit Beverstedt) and the B 71 towards Beverstedt and Basdahl.

Please note, however, that our farm - depending on which direction you are coming from - may only be accessible by crossing the Oste. This is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the farm via the Prahm ferries Gräpel or Brobergen, which only operate in the summer months and at certain times.
