Another special feature of the campground is a pilgrim chapel. It was dedicated in collaboration with the local pastor. It is open to members of the camping club, long-term campers, and, of course, tourists. The idea came about because many pilgrims travel along the nearby Mönchsweg as cycling tourists in the summer and often stay at the campground. In northern Germany, chapels at campgrounds are very rare—which made this special offering all the more important to us.
