Der Eichenhof

The Eichenhof is located in Hellwege, a typical North German village near Rotenburg (Wümme). The landscape here is characterized above all by the small river Wümme, which meanders gently through the Wümme lowlands, a nature reserve, with its meadows, floodplains and wooded dune ranges. A paradise not only for plants and animals, but also for hikers 
 
Guests are always welcome at the Heitmann family's vacation farm. Three generations live under one roof on the former farm, which is surrounded by shady parkland. Together they lovingly run not only a guesthouse with six vacation apartments, but also a small farm café, which is already known beyond the borders of the district of Rotenburg (Wümme) for its delicious delicacies and relaxed atmosphere.
 
At the weekend, when the farm café is open, there are homemade cakes and pies, refreshing ice cream from the region, delicious coffee and tea specialties, a snack, falmmkuchen and cool drinks.

And once you have taken a seat in the summer garden, under the old oak trees, or made yourself comfortable in the modern and lovingly furnished fireplace room in bad weather, you won't want to leave in a hurry.

There is also plenty for younger guests to discover. The "little ones" can romp around in the large courtyard, conquer the playground and pet the farm animals.
