- The vacation home is located just outside Westertimke, on a former military site. Westertimke is part of the joint municipality of Tarmstedt, which is one of thirteen municipalities in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme).
By car:
You can reach Westertimke from Bremen or Hanover via the A27 Langwedel and follow the signs towards Zeven on the L133 until you reach Westertimke. From there, drive in the direction of Tarmstedt and take the first left (after the Westertimke town sign). Then take the next left into the street "Zum Treffpunkt".
Coming from Hamburg, take the A1 Elsdorf, follow the signs to Zeven, from Zeven in the direction of Bremen on the L133 to Westertimke. From there, drive in the direction of Tarmstedt and take the first left (after the Westertimke town sign). Then take the next left into the street "Zum Treffpunkt".
By public transportation:
There are numerous bus connections from Bremen, Tostedt, Bremervörde and Rotenburg (Wümme) to the municipality of Tarmstedt (Tarmstedt bus station) and in some cases also to other towns such as Westertimke. However, it is not possible to take a bicycle on these buses!
