Whether after a hike or other activities, our beer garden with sunny and shaded areas invites you to relax. The adjacent playground provides plenty of variety for our younger guests.

With genuine Alpine charm, you can celebrate and enjoy yourself in style in our Alm. It can also be hired in combination with the beer garden – ideal for parties and special occasions.

Simple overnight accommodation is available in the house for guests who have travelled from further afield. Whether after an eventful day of hiking or for event guests from outside the area.

In a quiet location with no traffic noise, the Höcher Berg is 518 metres above sea level and is one of the highest peaks in the North Palatinate Uplands. On a clear day, the view stretches to the Erbeskopf, the Donnersberg, across the Palatinate Forest, to the Vosges and towards the Black Forest. With a little luck, you may even spot the Saarpolygon as a striking landmark.

The surrounding forests are ideal for short or long hikes. The Saarland circular hiking trail and the Bliessteig trail pass directly by the tower, making the location particularly attractive for nature lovers and hikers.
