The best way to reach the town from Bremen and Hamburg is via the A1 (Sittensen exit). From there, simply follow the signs for "Sittensen". From Bremervörde you can reach Sittensen via Zeven. Coming from Rotenburg (Wümme), drive via Scheeßel, Helvesiek and Hamersen.
By public transport:
