Travel by train and bus:
The "Metronom" takes you from Hamburg main station and Bremen main station to Tostedt station. From there, the "Oste-Sprinter" bus line 3860 runs to Groß Meckelsen from Monday to Saturday.

- The "Kuhmühlen" watermill can look back on a long history. Powered by the waters of the Kuhbach stream, the mill was built 750 years ago and extended over the years to include a manor house. After operations ceased in 1960, the architect Gerhard Klindworth acquired the historic half-timbered ensemble in 1986 and restored it with great attention to detail.
