Our family farm in Wadern-Morscholz has been in existence for 40 years. We grow cereals, rapeseed and potatoes and have increasingly specialised in growing potatoes in recent years.
When growing our potato varieties, we do not focus on appearance or yield. We select the varieties that produce the best flavour for cultivation. That is why the varieties are Ebbes-von-Hei! certified.
We market some of our potatoes ourselves via the potato cold store on our farm. On the other hand, our potatoes are also available from Ebbes-von-Hei! partner businesses. They are on the menu at the "Zur Post" restaurant in Kell.
Our flavoursome potato varieties:
- Early potatoes: "Annabelle" waxy
- Late varieties: "Allians" yellow, waxy, "Belana" yellow, very waxy, "Antonia" yellow, waxy, "Laura" dark yellow, early waxy

The regional initiative »Ebbes von Hei!« e.V. was founded in 2011 to support development in the Saar-Hunsrück region because our homeland is important to us. As an association of restaurateurs, craftsmen, farmers, direct marketers, service providers, cultural workers and numerous institutions from the region, we want to create regional self-confidence and do »Ebbes« for the region.
