Oste-Ferienhof
The Litsche Hus, also known as the littje, or lütje Hus (Low German has no standardized spelling) has been part of our farm since 1770. Built to house the “Häuslinge”—the farm’s retired workers—it has provided a home for people for over 240 years.
In 2013–2014, we devoted a great deal of effort to the eco-friendly renovation of this historic, listed building and transformed it into a unique guesthouse that offers families, couples, and groups versatile, comfortable accommodations. The roof was re-thatched with locally sourced reeds, and the walls, plastered with clay, further contribute to a pleasant indoor climate.
The two vacation apartments, “Dönns” (for up to 2 people) and “Flett” (for up to 6 people), are modern and thoughtfully furnished, combining old and new elements. The non-smoking apartments feature a separate entrance and a shared terrace.
A spacious, shared entryway with a seating area, tables, chairs, a counter, and a cozy stove radiating warmth invites all guests to linger. Even when the weather isn’t so nice, you can still relax here in good spirits. When the weather is unpleasant, children can use this space to play and run around. Or use the space for your seminar, birthday, anniversary, class reunion, or corporate event—here at Litschen Hus, you can celebrate in rustic style in the common area and in the garden.

- Ober Ochtenhausen is located in the northern part of the Rotenburg (Wümme) district, within the Selsingen joint municipality.
You can reach Selsingen by car...
- From Hamburg via the A 1 (Sittensen exit) and through Heeslingen toward Bremervörde.
- From Rotenburg (Wümme) via the B 71 toward Bremervörde.
- From Bremen and Hanover, take the A 27 and A 1 toward Hamburg (Bockel exit). Then take the B 71 toward Bremervörde.

From Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven, you can reach Bremervörde Station via the Elbe-Weser Railway (EVB). From Hamburg, take the S-Bahn (S 3) from Hamburg Central Station to Buxtehude. There, transfer to the EVB train to Bremervörde. For more information on train connections, visit www.bahn.de

Each additional night: 65.00 euros per night
Rates for the “Flett” vacation rental (for 4 people)

During the off-season (Nov. 1 – Dec. 20 and Jan. 6 – March 31), we offer a discount of 10.00 euros per night.
You are welcome to bring your own bed linens and towels, or we can provide them for 10.00 euros per person.
We offer a breakfast service for 15.00 euros per person. We’d also be happy to prepare a packed lunch for your hike or bike ride for an additional fee. More information

Our lodging is located near the NORDPFAD Ostetal trail and is particularly hiker-friendly in terms of amenities and service; among other things, we provide plenty of information about the NORDPFAD trails and the region.
