Stammhof Albers

We warmly welcome you to Stammhof Albers in Steddorf!

Our farm is located on the edge of the northern Lüneburg Heath, in the Elbe Weser triangle between Hamburg and Bremen. Horses, ponies, Erna the goat, Nora the dog, rabbits, guinea pigs and cats live on a part-time farm with mature trees and extensive green areas.

Four spacious vacation apartments:

• In our newly built half-timbered/Lower Saxony house we have furnished four separate vacation apartments generously, partly handicapped accessible and stylish. Two apartments are located on the upper floor and two on the ground floor.
• The individual apartments are between 65 and 85 square meters in size and each offer space for 2-6 people. They each consist of a fully equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher, comfortably furnished living room with large dining table, two bedrooms and shower/WC. In the Rittersporn apartment, there is the option of renting a guest room with shower/WC as a so-called 3rd bedroom.
• Each apartment has a terrace and various seating areas in the courtyard. There is also a fireplace for barbecues, baking bread on a stick or for cozy get-togethers.

Many opportunities for activities on the farm:

• Children can help feed the animals, take a ride on the tractor and ride a horse free of charge under the supervision and assistance of their parents.
• Kettcars, a playground, a trampoline, a table tennis table and bicycles are also available free of charge.
• You are also welcome to bring your own horse. Guest horse boxes can be provided.

Great excursion possibilities due to central location:

• Explore the region by bike or on foot. Our HOLIDAY and LEISURE region offers numerous cycling and hiking routes. 
• In the district of Rotenburg (Wümme), you can also visit the nature and adventure park in Bremervörde, the Großes Holz adventure playground, the moor railroad in Burgsittensen including the Tister Bauernmooe and the LandPark Lauenbrück or the Ronolulu adventure pool in Rotenburg (Wümme)
• What about a trip to the Hanseatic cities of Bremen, Hamburg and Stade, to the seaside town of Bremerhaven or to Lüneburg?
• The Teufelsmoor (Devil's Moor) with its art resort Worpswede, the Lüneburg Heath with its animal and leisure parks or the Alte Land on the Elbe river are also not far away.
