Our campsite is open all year round and is located in Hepstedt, approx. 30 km from Bremen, in the east of the Ummel state forest.
The 5-hectare site is surrounded by greenery and has 240 pitches. Mixed forests, small lakes, springs and other sights invite you to hike and relax.
Use a visit to the campsite for a relaxing walk in the Ummelforst, an extensive hike on the NORDPFAD Timke-Wälder, for a nice bike ride or for a refreshment in the Ummel-Café. In summer, the outdoor pool next to the campsite is a great place to cool off.

The course is open all year round and daily from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm. Lunch break is from 13.00 to 14.30.
Arrival is possible from 14.30 hrs. Departure should be by 12.00 noon. Other times are only possible after consultation with the operator.

Our campsite is barrier-free accessible. There is also a barrier-free shower and toilet.
Directions & Parking facilities
Our campsite is located just outside Hepstedt, in the beautiful "Ummel" forest area. Hepstedt is about 4 kilometers away from Tarmstedt.
By car:
From Bremen you can reach Hepstedt via Horn-Lehe, Lilienthal, Grasberg and Tarmstedt.
From Hamburg, take the A 1 (exit Elsdorf), then the B 71 towards Zeven. In Zeven, follow the signs to Bremen / Tarmstedt and take the L 133, which leads through Badenstedt and Ostertimke to Kirchtimke. There, turn off in the direction of Hepstedt.
From Hanover, follow the A 7 and the A 27 towards Bremen. Take the Achim Ost exit and follow the country roads via Borstel, Bassen, Ottersberg, Wilstedt to Tarmstedt. From there you will reach the neighboring village of Hepstedt.
By public transportation:
There are numerous bus connections from Bremen, Tostedt, Bremervörde and Rotenburg (Wümme) to the joint municipality of Tarmstedt (Tarmstedt bus station) and also to other towns such as Kirchtimke and Hepstedt. However, these do not offer the possibility to take a bicycle with you! You can find more information here: www.vbn.de

We also rent out two log cabins and a caravan with 2 single beds, 2 sleeping places in the round seating area, illuminated awning and a cozy seating area outside. Refrigerator, electric stove, kettle, toaster, SAT TV, barbecue and much more are also available
