Just cross the dunes once - and the beautiful Spiekeroog sandy beach beckons with a refreshing dip in the North Sea. The DLRG-guarded beach section is a walk of about twenty minutes along the beach, about the same distance as along the mudflats to the village.
The Spiekeroog campsite has a sanitary building with toilets and showers with hot and cold running water and sinks in the outdoor area. Two washing machines are available.
There are no cooking facilities, just a central barbecue area with a fixed barbecue that everyone is welcome to use. Of course, you are also welcome to set up your own barbecue there - but please only there: the campsite is located in the middle of the sensitive dunes, so there is a considerable dune fire hazard, especially in summer.
