The Palace Chapel
This chapel with its impressive furnishings is the only Protestant castle chapel north of the Alps still in its original form from the 16th century.
The Celle Castle Chapel with its original paintings by the famous artist Marten de Vos and the entire interior decoration takes us back 500 years to the time of the Reformation, the turning away from Catholicism to Protestantism. Faith, the meaning of life and also human significance are depicted extremely impressively and vividly.
Please note that access to the Schlosskapelle exhibition is not barrier-free!
