The district of Avendshausen is located approximately 9 km northwest of the city Einbeck.
The district of Avendshausen lies to the north-west of Einbeck somewhat remote from the main traffic routes of the town of Einbeck. The village has approx. 126 inhabitants (as of 02.01.2024).

In 1286, Avendshausen was first mentioned in a deed.

Culture and sights:

  • The "St. Petri" church in Avendshausen, which was rebuilt in 1657, still contains a baptismal font from the 13th century.
  • A special timbered building next to the church was once the vicarage, which was built in 1788.
The circular cycle route bridges and borders. At the end of Avendshausen in the direction of Rengershausen, there is a bicycle rest area.

Die Ortschaft Avendshausen ist über die L546 zu erreichen.
Mit dem PKW erreicht man Avendshausen von Einbeck aus nach circa 9 km und ungefähr 13 Minuten Fahrzeit.
Für für die Anfahrt nach Avendshausen per Rad über den Kohnser Weg, die Vardeilser Landstraße und die L546 werden für die 7,8 km lange Strecke ab Einbeck ungefähr 30 Minuten Fahrzeit benötigt.
