Church
The parish church "St Aegidius" with its 12th century church tower - probably the former watchtower of the Löwenburg - is the oldest building in Aegidienberg. The church suffered severe damage in 1945, but was gradually repaired. In 1955, a sacristy was added to the south-east of the choir.
The baptismal font from the 13th century, the baroque high altar from 1779 and the two side altars, four side windows with depictions of saints, the Klais organ from 1929 and the four bells ringing from the church tower as well as the bronze main portal of the church created by sculptor Sepp Kürten are all worthy of note.
