An old-established cinema in the center of Salzgitter-Bad. The seats, toilet facilities and entrance area were renovated in 2021.

The CINEMA is run on a voluntary basis and is characterized by its program. Since 1999, CINEMA has received the annual film program award of the states of Lower Saxony and Bremen from nordmedia in uninterrupted succession for the program series "The Special Film".
