The Darnsee is a natural monument, nature reserve and - on the eastern shore - a natural outdoor pool all in one;

Within its nature reserve, it is rich in rare plants and fauna worthy of protection. In total, the lake is 560 m long, 400 m wide and 6-8 m deep.

Openings

Opening hours apply during the season from around the beginning of May to the beginning of September (depending on the weather and temperature). The Darnsee natural outdoor pool may be closed in bad weather conditions.

Last admission: 30 minutes before the end of opening hours, leaving the water 15 minutes before the end of opening hours.
