With its magnificent baroque stucco decorations, the Fürstensaal provides a festive setting for concerts and receptions of all kinds. It is also popular as a wedding room.

On the first floor of the castle, numerous objects showcase the rural and bourgeois living culture of the Salzgitter region between 1700 and 1920. Most of the objects on display in the adjoining rooms come from middle-class homes or from wealthy farmers - for example, the table piano from the age of classicism, which was played by the daughter of a farmer in 1810. The furniture in the Biedermeier room comes almost entirely from Salzgitter-Bad. The majority of Salzgitter's traveling musicians, the so-called "Klesmer", also came from this district. In the first half of the 19th century, the music groups delighted people in the region as well as in St. Petersburg, New York and Rio de Janeiro with their music.

There are two parking spaces for electric vehicles with charging stations (subject to a charge) directly at the "Museumstraße" entrance.

For use as a wedding room, please take a look at the calendar of the registry office.
