The guided tours through the "Kaolin Experience" reveal everything about the geological formation of white clay, kaolin extraction in underground and open-cast mining, the history of Europe's largest narrow-gauge railroad network around Mügeln station and other industrial uses of the raw material.
Guided hikes along the "Path to Kaolin" and bicycle hire complete the offer. The Döllnitzbahn starts its themed excursions with diesel and steam locomotives at the Mügeln narrow-gauge railway station.

Long Thursday with guided tours after work until 7 pm, on the 1st Thursday of each month (groups must register in advance).
Special opening hours during the winter, summer and fall vacations: Monday to Friday 10:00 - 17:00.
