Görlitz Christmas House
Just a few steps from the Obermarkt, on Fleischerstraße, lies the Görlitz Christmas House. Step inside, and you’ll be immersed in a world of candle arches, Christmas pyramids, incense burners, nutcrackers, angels, stars, and Christmas tree ornaments.
Here, traditional crafts meet gift ideas for all ages—making the Christmas House a special stop on a stroll through Görlitz’s Old Town, not just during Advent. Even if you just want to browse, be sure to set aside a little time to explore.
Of course, the atmosphere is especially festive during the pre-Christmas season, when the historic Old Town itself becomes a Christmas scene and the nearby Silesian Christmas Market adds to the Advent spirit.
Our tip: Stop by even outside the Christmas season—after all, a little Christmas magic works any time of year.

From Cottbus via the B115, then continue on the B6 and B99 toward the city center/Old Town.
From Wrocław (Breslau) via the A4 to the Görlitz (94) interchange, then continue on the B6 and B99 toward the city center/Old Town
From Bautzen/Löbau via the B6 to the Görlitz-Rauschwalde junction, then continue along Wiesbadener and Reichenbacher Streets toward the city center/Old Town
From Zittau, take the B99 toward the city center/Old Town

Parken
There are numerous paid parking spaces at Obermarkt. There is a separate button for the day pass.
Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
Take tram line 1 or 2 to the Demianiplatz stop, then walk across Marienplatz and Obermarkt for about 5 minutes toward the Old Town. At the end of Obermarkt, next to the Heroldbrunnen, turn onto Fleischerstraße.
