The Juist goldfish ponds were created in 1903 by the Juist Verschönerungsverein on the initiative of the biologist Dr Otto Leege. The Juist Foundation renaturalised the Juist goldfish ponds a few years ago. So now you can enjoy the Goldfish Ponds in their full beauty again. So that you can also enjoy the view and atmosphere while sitting down, you will find new benches on site.

The best way to reach the goldfish ponds is via Flugplatzstraße. At the end of the village, a path leads off to the right. Walk in and you will find the goldfish ponds after 150 meters on the left-hand side. You can reach the goldfish ponds in a wheelchair. The paths are paved and relatively flat.
