The Town Hall Gallery is one of the city’s cultural attractions that has garnered significant attention even beyond the region. The gallery’s high-quality exhibition program is complemented by readings, concerts, and lectures.
The Town Hall Gallery is the heart of Grimma’s diverse art scene. In the attractive rooms of the former hussar guardhouse and in the barrel-vaulted cellar of City Hall, the “Förderkreis für Kunst und Kultur in Grimma e. V.” (Friends of Art and Culture in Grimma) presents outstanding contemporary art in the heart of the historic old town.
A key focus of the gallery is the presentation of visual art from the Muldental region, home to numerous renowned artists.
