On its land around Engelnstedt, the Hagemann Farm grows sugar beets, winter wheat, winter barley, and corn on conventionally farmed fields, following the principles of integrated pest management.
In 2004 , the Hagemann Farm began growing pumpkins. The pumpkin season kicks off every year in mid-September with the Pumpkin Festival. Over 60 different varieties of ornamental and edible pumpkins are grown and sold on the farm through the end of October.
In 2007, a pick-your-own flower field was added. Every year starting in early July, you’ll find a colorful mix of sunflowers, gladiolas, lilies, zinnias, asters, and many different summer flowers on the outskirts of Engelnstedt (toward the A39).
Since April 2016, the Hagemann Farm has been selling free-range eggs from its own chickens in its farm store.
Other regional products: meat and sausage products from pasture-raised pigs, pasture-raised broiler chickens, potatoes, sweet potatoes, pasta, milk, cocoa, honey, and apple juice.
