Harz Theatre (theatre)

Experience thrilling evenings of theater in the largest theater in the Harz region. With its drama, musical theater and dance sections, the Harz Theater offers a diverse and varied program all year round. There are also great and exciting productions for children, young people and families.

In summer, open-air performances are staged at various locations in the Harz region, including the Harzer Bergtheater in Thale, the moated castle in Westerburg and the Burchardi monastery in Halberstadt. There are also special plays such as the world premiere of "Ich bin dann Er" in the Martinikirche Halberstadt and "Der Name der Rose" in the St. Servatii collegiate church in Quedlinburg.

Every year in June, the Halberstadt Cathedral Festival takes place in St. Stephen's Cathedral.
