The house "Siebje" is an old Juist island house built in 1811. The name of the house refers to the last owner. This little gem, which stands together with several other old island houses around Janusplatz, bears witness to the old Juist building tradition. Today this small building belongs to the local history society. From 1983 to 1986, the local history society voluntarily reconstructed and rebuilt the dilapidated building. Handicraft exhibitions and vernissages by local artists are held there regularly. The archive of the local history society is housed on the upper floor of the small house.
