Karl Preusker Library
Founded in 1828 by Karl Preusker as a public library, today it is a modern facility for children, adults, and seniors, housed in a historic building, generously spread over three floors, with cozy reading areas, a reference library as a place for learning, a reading garden, and numerous events for all ages
At sachsen.digital, you can explore the historical manuscripts and printed works of the Karl Preusker Library. The focus of the digitization efforts in the state’s digitization program is the 22-volume family biography of Karl Benjamin Preusker.
