Lake Zwenkau is the largest lake in southern Leipzig's Neuseenland region - a highlight for recreation seekers and water sports enthusiasts.
The largest lake in southern Leipzig's Neuseenland region is best discovered from the water - by paddling, sailing or on a round trip on the MS Santa Barbara. The harbor with restaurants, boat rental, tourist information, diving center and vacation apartments is a popular destination. Once a year, Lake Zwenkau turns into a cultural stage when the "NeuSeenLand Musikfest am Kap Zwenkau" (New Lake Land Music Festival at Cape Zwenkau) attracts artists from all over the world. The surrounding Eichholz and Neue Harth forest areas are ideal for long walks and hikes.

By public transport: Take the S4 (e.g. from Leipzig, Hauptbahnhof) to the Markkleeberg-Gaschwitz stop. Continue with bus line 107 to Zwenkau, Nord.

The bus lines 100, 101, 105, 123 and 124 also serve the bus stop Zwenkau, Nord. From there it is a 5 minute walk (260 m).

Parking by car: There are parking spaces along the lakeside promenade and Hafenstraße
