Luther Church Radebeul

The Lutherkirche was built in 1892 as a church in Radebeul and is the first church building by the well-known architects Schilling & Graebne, who made a name for themselves with church buildings such as the Christuskirche in Dresden-Strehlen. After extensive interior renovation work, the church was given the name Lutherkirche in 1934. The church building, which is a listed building, is reminiscent of the German Renaissance style of the 16th century. Due to its exposed brick walls, the building is also known as the Red Church. The 68-metre-high church tower houses tower clock no. 116, made by Lommatzsch tower clock maker Moritz Bassler in 1892.
