Martin-Schmidt-Konzertsaal

The Martin-Schmidt-Konzertsaal was inaugurated in October 1993 with a grand opening concert.

Martin Schmidt, an entrepreneur from Münch with close ties to the community, has been supporting the city's cultural interests since 1981. The jointly organized chamber music series "Meisterkonzerte" is made possible by the Martin and Ilse Schmidt Foundation.

The concert hall with adjoining foyer now provides a worthy setting for the master concerts as well as numerous events such as lectures, readings, cultural performances, exhibitions, discussion series and much more.
